Business Development

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader to help us launch our newest suite of performance and weather analytics data products. This individual will work closely with our Head of Data Products to identify customer needs and execute on sales and marketing campaigns. A successful candidate in this role can work independently in client-facing engagements, collaborate with the business and engineering team, and make recommendations on product development and sales strategy.

  • Solving a critical problem that has hindered the solar industry since its inception.

What you likely need to do the job well:

  • Solar experience. You have experience supporting solar M&A transactions and/or a technical background on solar estimation and PVSyst modeling.

  • Client-facing experience. Your background is likely some mix of performance engineering, business development, sales or investment banking. You are invigorated by developing and maintaining relationships. 

  • Sweats the details. You care deeply about making sure that research and analysis are done right.

  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves. We are a start-up and need people who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty (like firing up Excel to review data).
