People Operations Manager

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and mission-driven People Operations Manager -- someone who has the ability to keep a fast-growing company from falling off the rails through excellent organizational and people skills. You will report directly to the COO and be given the responsibility of both external recruiting and managing internal processes. To help you be successful, we have assembled an incredibly supportive team as well as a network of vendors to help you accomplish the variety of tasks at hand.

What you can look forward to:

  • Owning the HR function in a fast-growing company.

  • Taking a business goal, developing a recommended strategy, and executing to completion.

  • Hiring, onboarding and retaining talent that cares about the company and its mission.

  • Providing support in fulfilling compliance obligations such as licensing and regulatory filings.

  • Researching, benchmarking, recommending, building and maintaining the systems and processes that keep the company running smoothly.

  • Making kWh Analytics a great place to work by creating organizational structure around employee benefits, feedback, compensation plans, and diversity.

  • Working alongside a small team of solar enthusiasts to combat climate change.

What you’ll likely need to do the job well:

  • Jack of all trades approach: You appreciate task variety in your workday and can handle concurrent projects that impact many different aspects of the business. You can switch gears from planning our annual retreat to figuring out how to obtain an insurance license to facilitating our Friday Lunch and Learn presentations -- all in a day’s work!

  • Organizational skills: You have a meticulous manner with a passion for crafting scalable systems and processes to keep things in order.

  • Natural, authentic people skills: You are a great listener who possesses strong interpersonal skills and is quick to build trust. You are someone whom the team can rely on for support and will also be the face of the company for our candidates.

  • Startup mentality: You may have worked at a small, scrappy company in the past or you just  enjoy rolling up your sleeves to knock out whatever needs doing. You adapt quickly and new challenges don’t scare you because you know how to ask the right questions or contact the right people to find solutions.

Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience preferred

Location: SF Bay Area
